free rinsing and self-neutralising pre-sprays are

Please Note: A thorough vacuuming

out with the use of a vacuum fitted with an agitation
brush or power head. This service is not included in
AC&TC's Basic Clean.
AUSTRALIAN
STANDARDS STEAM CLEAN
The use of AC&TC's hospital grade
vacuum cleaner before steam cleaning will upgrade the
above service to comply with ASNZ3733.
FULL
RESTORATION STEAM CLEAN
This service uses rotary pad/brush
agitation as part of the cleaning process.
- Agitation separates and lifts
yarns allowing the cleaning agent to penetrate deeply
into the face fibres significantly aiding the cleaning
process.
- All heavily soiled, matted or
flattened carpets will benefit greatly from a full
restoration clean.
- WOOL carpets will benefit most
from this service. Just like one's own hair wool does
not respond well to harsh detergents.
- The use of gentle "WoolSafe"
organisation approved detergents followed by agitation
before extraction is the best way to clean heavily
soiled natural fibres.
AC&TC's Full Restoration Steam
Clean includes:
- Pre inspection upon arrival &
confirmation of price estimate made over the phone
- Vacuum clean using a hospital
grade machine (i.e., hospital grade HEPA filter &
brush head)
- Move furniture, where possible,
and replace after cleaning.
- Hot water pre-spray with cleaning
agent
- Agitation of traffic areas to
lift fibres and suspend soils
- Hot water extraction of suspended
soils and basic stain removal
- Neutralising of chemical pre-spray
if appropriate.
- Grooming of carpet, where appropriate,
to improve its look and separate yarns.
- Optional protection (at additional
cost to client)
- Optional supplementary drying
with air movers (at additional cost to client).
CARPET
PROTECTION
CARPET PROTECTION applied at the
mill gradually wears away over time (approx. 2-3 years)
leaving carpets vulnerable to soiling and staining.
Complete re-application or "top
up" of traffic areas directly after cleaning will:
- Restore the stain blocking performance
of factory applied protection.
- Protect your carpets against food
and liquid spills.
- Help repel general soiling, dust
mites and other allergens making vacuuming considerably
more effective.
- Help contribute to a healthier
indoor environment.
CARPET
ENCAPSULATION CLEANING
CARPET ENCAPSULATION CLEANING for
those "in between" times or when fast drying
is a priority. Encapsulation works by surrounding or
"encapsulating" soil particles present amongst
the fibres holding them in suspension and then drying
to a crystal. The dirt filled crystals are then extracted
by vacuuming.
- Though not designed as a replacement
for hot water extraction, this system offers a suitable
alternative in situations where noise and/or drying
time may be an issue.
- It is well suited to commercial
spaces and high traffic areas.
- It is effective when used as a
maintenance clean between regular steam cleaning.
- As with steam cleaning, a thorough
vacuuming before cleaning is essential to remove as
many soils as possible. Vacuuming should preferably
be carried out with the use of a vacuum fitted with
an agitation brush or power head.
UPHOLSTERY
CLEANING AND PROTECTION
Whether it be Dad's favorite old
armchair or the finest velvet dining chairs, attention
to detail and leading brand cleaning materials ensure
the softest and best clean possible.A purpose built
mini hot water extraction unit operated by AC&TC's
fully qualified Upholstery & Fabric Cleaning Technician
is used to ensure the gentlest treatment of your fabrics.
- Only premium quality fine fabric
detergents and rinses are used when cleaning upholstery
and other soft furnishings such as mattresses and
cushions.
- Specialist products used by AC&TC
ensure the best possible result on "problem"
fibres such as "bleeders" and Haitian cotton.
If in doubt testing is always carried out before treatment
to ensure the appropriate cleaning techniques are
used.
- As with carpets, AC&TC's
qualified technician is able to apply protection to
upholstery and Soft furnishings to guard against general
soiling, food stains and drink spills.
SPECIALIST
STAIN REMOVAL
Notoriously stubborn stains such
as acid food dyes in some cordials, or tannins in red
wine and coffee, amongst others, require specialist
attention. AC&TC's specialist technician has been
trained in the use of specific chemicals in the treatment
of stains on carpets, rugs, upholstery and other soft
furnishings. We place a priority on the conservative
and safe use of chemicals.
- Normal cleaning, even with the
best chemicals and rinses, will not remove some stains.
- Using stronger chemicals in the
hope of removing such stains runs the risk of damaging
the fibres. The improper use of harsh chemicals can
bleach, damage or indeed destroy fibres
- Our aim is to preserve and maintain
client's assets. Treatments will only be carried out
with the permission and full understanding of the
owner or their agents.
- Always call a professional first!

SPECIALIST
COLOUR REPAIR AND RESTORATION
If the patching or replacement of
carpet and upholstery is impractical, uneconomic or
impossible, colour repair may be your only option. Stains
and spots up to dinner plate size can be attempted using
this service.
- Permanent stains (darker colour)
and spots (lighter colour or bleached) may be treated
with colour matching and restoration techniques only
on wool, nylon or combination wool/nylon carpets and
fabrics.
- The neutralising of any chemicals
present in the fibres followed by a thorough cleaning
of the affected area must be carried out before colour
repair is attempted. This should be done in any case
to eliminate the risk of further damage to the carpet.
- Colour repair and restoration
is a highly skilled and labour intensive service and
can become expensive. However most colour repairs
are successful and are usually a cheaper solution
than replacement.
TILE
AND GROUT CLEANING
Porcelain, Ceramic, Quarry tiles,
grout and concrete are no problem for our high heat
and pressure cleaning system.
- For domestic and industrial situations.
- Using a commercial-size truck
mounted Hot Water Extraction Unit
- Soap scum or greasy restaurant
tiles are easily cleaned when utilising the quality
chemicals and equipment used by AC&TC.
- Wastewater is sucked away
for safe disposal to our tank (or into the sewer)
leaving grout and tiles as clean and dry as possible.
WATER
DAMAGE RESTORATION
Whether it be broken plumbing or
mother nature, commercial or domestic we at AC&TC
are in a position to help with the cleanup after flooding
has occurred.
- From moving furniture and "making
safe" to drying and relaying AC&TC's fully
qualified Water Damage Restoration Technician is able
to manage the situation at hand.
- As there is much more to water
damage restoration than simply sucking out water and
leaving the carpet to dry it pays to use a professionally
qualified technician such as Ian to oversee the restoration
of your assets affected by water.
